The most beautiful experience ever – the ski camp organized in Ridnaun and Rosskopf was a unique present for the winners of the first „SKIDS – The Snow Festival“ edition. 27 kids of the under10 to under16 categories spent two days with the former ski stars Tina Maze, Viktoria Rebensburg, Denise Karbon, Manfred Mölgg and Kristian Ghedina and collected numerous tips and tricks.
The 27 winners of the giant slalom have now redeemed their adventure voucher and spent 2 days in a ski camp with the former World Cup athletes Denise Karbon, Manfred Mölgg, Viktoria Rebensburg, Tina Maze and Kristian Ghedina.
After their arrival in the Schneeberg Family Spa Resort in Ridnaun they first got to know their idols.
The next morning, they went skiing together on Rosskopf in Sterzing, where the former World Cup athletes spent a lot of time with the kids, giving them advice and having a lot of fun, for example when deep-snow skiing. In the afternoon everyone was invited to the athletics training in the gym together with the coaches and in the evening a cosy “meet & greet” was organized in the Schneeberg Family Spa Resort in Ridnaun, where also external ski associations could come and get an autograph from the stars.
There is nothing better than winning such adventure prizes. Spending two days with former World Cup athletes who look after these kids and attend to their wishes, this is a unique experience which sticks in your memory forever. While material prizes are forgotten, experiences are not.
The partnership with the Schneeberg Family Spa Resort has been extended for 2024. The camp of the 2nd SKIDS edition will take place in December 2024.
