She lives for the ski sport. As a child and teenager Sabrina Tavella from Vahrn stood many times at the start of different ski races herself, but one race still sticks to her memory: the Fila Sprint in Brixen. At this race, which took place on a weekend, fun was in the foreground and she had the opportunity to make many international friends. Now the marketing expert and ski coach has fulfilled herself a dream with organizing SKIDS: a race, that should be lots of fun and offer more than a normal race. She wishes SKIDS to become a festival for everybody: for children, parents and coaches where fun is a priority.

manfred mölgg

Manfred Mölgg is one of the most famous skiers in South Tyrol. The slalom specialist from St. Vigil in Enneberg was part of the World Cup for almost 20 years, once being the vice world champion and winning the overall slalom World Cup in 2008. Now that he has ended his professional career as a skier, he wants to pass on all the values that are important in this sport to the younger generation: team spirit, pleasure, and discipline, but also sense of responsibility and independence. His biggest dream is to still see kids being inspired by this wonderful sport and that is why he is doing all he can to achieve this.

Doch Sabrina und Manfred können das Festival niemals allein auf die Füße stellen, weshalb sie sich ein Organisationskommittee zusammengestellt haben, das sie in den unterschiedlichsten Bereichen unterstützt. Gemeinsam mit dem WSV Sterzing, so ist sich das Organisationsteam einig, wird SKIDS ein unvergessliches Erlebnis und voller Erfolg!

Together with my colleagues in the organisation comittee, I want to help create added value for children and pass on the enthusiasm for skiing. We give the children the opportunity to develop and make new friends.

As president of WSV Sterzing Ski for many years, I am particularly pleased to welcome such an event in Sterzing and on the Rosskopf. Our young athletes should not miss the fun of the sport and therefore it is important for me to contribute to make this event a success in every aspect. I wish all participants a lot of fun with all our activities and I am looking forward to welcoming everyone in Sterzing soon.

The ski sport belongs to the most beautiful sports in my eyes, because physical exercise in fresh alpine air in combination with a fantastic view is the best that can happen to me. SKIDS, the Snow Festival – though offers an additional decisive factor, namely the possibility to meet lots of kids and teenagers from all over Europe and to make great new friends.
