Skids – International ski race Southtyrol
Let´s create memories.
SKIDS stands for SKIING Kids, for kids who have fun speeding down the mountain, who like chasing their teammates with a broad grin on their faces. It’s exactly this feeling, which we still know from our own childhood, and which is the aim of SKIDS – the snow festival.
Now we are ready for the 4th next edition, which will take place from 1 to 4th April 2026 on the Rosskopf near Sterzing. where once the ski World Cup took place in the 80s. Different races and competitions are going to be organized, on the slopes, as well as fun and games off-piste. Coaches and parents on the other hand get the chance to attend discussions and information evenings to extend their knowledge on the topic skiing.
So, what are you waiting for….come to Sterzing and its backyard mountain called Rosskopf!
What you can look forward to…
…are three days of endless fun, games and new friendships. You can participate in different races and competitions – on and off-piste.
Races
Measure your strength with others in many different disciplines. Show what you are made of in the classic giant slalom and in a parallel event as a team.
Games
No matter whether at rope pulling or in an obstacle course – there’s nothing better than playing with your teammates!

Only together are we strong – the parade, rope pull and team parallel slalom are organized according to this motto. We want you to strengthen your friendships within your team and make new friends from all over the world with whom you share the passion for skiing. #teamworkmakesthedreamwork
Experience price
„Fun and Games“ is the motto of this event, so also the trophies you can win reflect this idea since there is nothing better than experiencing adventures with your ski friends and idols off-piste.

Felix Neureuther, Manfred and Manuela Mölgg, Marcel Hirscher, Denise Karbon….when all of these World Cup stars were kids, they also participated in a prestigious international race for kids and teenagers in South Tyrol.
International competition, getting to know new enthusiastic young skiers as well as the mutual “pushing” before every start have inspired us to organize SKIDS, a new festival that focuses on sport, fun and games.
Be part of it in spring 2025 because, who knows, maybe exactly you will be the new ski star of tomorrow.
